Ronald Lee Newton

. Ronald Lee Newton  of Sampson county, North Carolina departed from this world early Saturday morning April 13, 2024. Ronald was born in Clinton, North Carolina on March 1, 1954 to the Late Elwood Newton and Elizabeth Ruth Bennett Newton. Ronald attended  school in Sampson County and graduated from Midway High School. Ronald lived most of his life  in Herring District , Sampson County. After high school he started working at Purolator Manufacturer for 44 years as a machine operator In his youth Ronald met and married  his high school sweetheart Miss Jacqueline Mc Neill, they had three children and continued to live in Herring District. As Ronald health began to fail he retired from Purolator and later became a  resident of Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Fayetteville North Carolina. for the past five years. Ronald was preceded in death by both parents Elwood Newton, Elizabeth Newton, one sister Charlotte Newton Coley, Two brothers Larry Newton and Harold Newton. Left to cherish his memories A loving wife  Jacqueline Newton of 49+ years, two sons Ronald L Newton Jr of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Jeremy F Newton of Highpoint, NC, and one daughter Larissa Beth Newton of Dunn, NC Four grandchildren Talia Maynard, Jaden Chestnutt, Jeremiah Newton, Justin Chestnutt, two great grandchildren Alaiyah Smith, Aniya Smith, three brothers  James Newton, Billy Ray Newton, Johnny Newton, two sisters Glenda Walsworth, Debbie Butler host of  nephews, nieces family members and friends. There will be a family and friends gathering Friday April 19,2024 from 1pm to 4pm at Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services Dunn, NC.
